Hydrovane Seeks Qualified Dealers or Agents in Non English Speaking Countries


DEALERS AND AGENTS IN NON ENGLISH COUNTRIES - QUALIFICATIONS

  • EXCLUSIVE DEALER -Hydrovane refers all enquiries for that country to the Dealer for a specified country and/or language – criteria for qualification:
    1. Proficient in both languages: 1) English and 2) the domestic language of that country - able to comfortably communicate with Hydrovane on technical and business issues
    2. Experienced with either the Hydrovane or other self steering systems
    3. Have an established business selling and marketing marine products
    4. Advertise and promote the Hydrovane product through website, advertising and booth at boat shows
    5. Have a ‘DEMO’ unit for display in their store/showroom and for boat shows
    6. Minimum one year’s experience as a Hydrovane Agent and having sold a number of Hydrovanes

  • NON EXCLUSIVE AGENT
    • Preferably items 1 to 5 above …. And eventually becomes an ‘Exclusive Dealer’

HYDROVANE WILL PROVIDE TO THOSE DEALERS AND AGENTS:

  • FULL SUPPORT – in materials, advertising (co-op ads - share in cost) and assistance in completing sales - especially in determining configurations for the installation
  • INSTALLATION CONFIGURATIONS – Will and John of Hydrovane must participate directly with the dealer/agent in determining the configuration of each installation. Hydrovane knows from experience the pitfalls and issues that arise and does not want any representative to be involved with faulty or problematic installations.
  • ADVERTISING – Proportionate share in costs of advertising.
  • DISPLAY UNIT – Hydrovane will provide a stand with suitable brackets and shaft for display of the ‘DEMO’ unit.
  • INSTRUCTIONS - Work with the Dealer/Agent in developing a translated version of the INSTRUCTIONS and TIPS .... and relevant other sections of our website
