INSTALLATION - Important – see TIPS section - Fortunately the Hydrovane does not require any critical positioning. We will provide an installation drawing but you will determine the precise location once you have the unit. There are always those little positioning compromises to make. The only requirement of the Hydrovane is that the shaft be vertical. The brackets are mere holders/clamps, in which the shaft can be moved up or down, if need be. Many do the installation themselves. It is like installing a major deck cleat or winch – straight forward for a skilled rigger or marine tradesman. Following is a list of some experienced installers that have been referred to us.
